It doesn’t have to be tier s to make me happy. If I can get a positive win rate with it I’ll be good.
Oh, yes it does. You won’t be happy until this becomes Magestone, and Mage is Tier S and everyone plays Mage and there are no minions, only spells!
i swear,
i would prefer to play grand finale instead of the nerfed quest lock.
edit : i lost count on how many times the warlock play 2 of the 8/8 flesh giant
while i fill the board with 8/8 at the same turn.
Its a bit pointless to argue on this forum imo. Play the class, you ll see that the whole deck is built around milling/drawing your deck to activate the lifesteal 3/3 quillbeast, and its really the main source of heal of the deck.
Muahahahaha
Curses! my evil scheme is foiled:))))
The way people come at you, you’d really think this is your ultimate goal! xD
That is so accurate it hurts.
Those meddling kids in their crazy van !!! LOL
Mordresh HP mage will be slightly better naturally, but still not good.
All-Spell mage has insane draw because : discover spell damage minion is a spell, and +spell damage boosts your draw spell. Also Water doesn’t flop because all spells
In a minion based deck that doesn’t focus on +spell damage… all you have is arcane intellect and neutrals.
In a deck that depends on drawing the right cards on curve, and has limited draw, you are dead if you need a play and draw Mordresh early. It plays exactly the same as Quest Priest actually.
Mage needs a way to discover him.
New Quest : deal x damage with your hero power = reward : Mordresh
fixed
that’s not quite true though.
Even in the worst possible circumstances you do have starscryers and chandlers.
But in reality, Mordesh is a very lean package to begin with (just 5 cards), so you always pair him with something else. Like mordesh+spellpower, or mordesh+secrets, and etc.
and all those add even more draw options.
Ugh, I knew I shouldn’t have dusted mithril rod copies. At least I still have my two Goldens. And a golden demon seed. Will definitely dust that now.
I think this will hit warlock less hard than people expect. It’ll shift the more controlly, lifegain version with otk potential (maybe mine running Ashtongue will do better in a slower meta with shadow priest gone).
It’ll hit Shaman harder. You are already basically having to put the game away in the turn or two after Brukan, and that already required playing basically every overload card you had. Now you’ll have an awkward turn 3 and an extra turn getting to Brukan, probably worse overloaded and in a bad spot for the next turn.
Mage getting stronger is bad for both, but we will see if this is enough to be viable. My guess is they’re setting up hp mage to be the elemental shaman of the next miniset.
Warrior buffs don’t seem enough, bit they never do. I think half of the magic is just directing talented players to optimize the decks. If warrior takes off that’s double bad news for Shaman.
Illucia nerf is stupid. How is she a late game disruption tool now? She’s still good aggro fuel, tho. Should have been “take control of your opponents hand for the rest of your turn”.
Thanks for the hunter changes. This won’t change anything as both of those cards are pretty much useless.
So they really slowed down Warlock Quest, but it still going win the fatigue game. It still killing any other late control decks.
And wild ban is a both stupid and insult - basically - “we gonna wait for 2 years and print more OP cards so by the time DemonSeed rotates its gonna be trash”. What happened to: all cards can be used in Wild?
Not happy with this as long term solution.
Knife vendor in fatigue lock looks much more promising now.
Who are you and why did you hack Mallenroh’s account?
Not a standard player, but The Mindrender nerf is beyond dumb. “Its basically skipped an opponents turn” in wild so we had to not only change its main effect but trash its entire playability. Why make it copy the hand? If I’m playing priest at all, what reason would I need to run her now. Just plain dumb.
BG: Pirates lose two minions but get terrible buffs. +2 to Goldy doesnt make it anymore useful then it was before. So lets add +1 to looters health…what is that?
This is true, but it’s also much, much more susceptible to aggro. It can be an archetype killer and that won’t matter if it loses so much it’s no longer popular. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
So they don’t want impactful nerfs to kill cards, but killing Illucia under the guise of “it’s a rework, not a nerf” is okay?
Lol! I know, I double checked myself while proofreading.
I think the new meds I’m on are doing strange things to me…
It really took them this long to ban demon seed from wild?? Gotta get that money… Which is why I refuse to spend a single dime on this stupid game. Devs are too money hungry to think competently.
