2 games in a row in Duo's. Need throw report

SO it’s been 2 games in a row where my partners don’t play anything and end up leaving around turn 5. Talk about a waste of time.

Why would you play Duos with random people?

Why wouldn’t I play with random people?

I mean it was made for people who communicate and to be able to play something together with a buddy. Idk why you’d play it alone when your winning/losing really is at the mercy of some rando who can throw and grief.

Actually if that’s how it was intended, it would work that way, but it doesn’t.

The fact is, they made a multiplayer mode which enables you to team up with other players, However, the way in which you can communicate with your partner is almost none existent.

Even when you have a teammate that is being active, sometimes they send you stuff you don’t need, they end up wasting resources that could have been used for their board rather than sending stuff that you’re not going to use.

Blizzard has the necessary tools to improve this and make it a better experience and there’s no reason for them not to, unless, that is of course, they are not being upfront about the bot issue.

It does lmao. I play duos with a buddy. You don’t. You’re having the problem. I’m not. That’s literally how it works.

No, you just think that you’re way to play is the only way to play, and it’s not.

And when I did I say I never play with someone I know? You’re making an assumption.

so you want to report your friends?

good news, you already can

you are way… lol

How do you know they are throwing on purpose and not having connection issues or queued duo by mistake and left because they meant to que solo?

When did I ever say you never play with someone you know? You’re putting words in my mouth lmao.

You were complaining about randoms. And I asked you why would you que up with randoms?

My way to play is the only way to guarantee no one will grief you. Keep queueing with randoms I guess!

I would not be able to tell myself if they are intestinally throwing if they leave a match without playing a card, however, Blizzard has the ability to see this on their end. Look at Overwatch as an example, if a player que’s up for a match and they keep having issue’s where they are disconnecting, they get suspended, why? because they are negatively impacting the experience for the other player. However, if it’s on blizzard end’s having the ability to report this also brings it to their attention that this is happening and needs to be addressed.

However, if they que’d for the wrong match, that’s on them. Again, using overwatch as an example, if you que up for a ranked match and you leave but you wanted to play quick play, that negatively impacts the player, as it should, this is no different.

However, there are times when it is evident that your opponent is throwing. An example, when they get upset that you didn’t send them a card that they wanted and then decide to sell their entire board. Does not happen often, but has.

At the end of the day, having a way to report behavior such as the one mentioned does not take away but rather improves the overall experience.

lol, I"m not putting words in your mouth… you literally said it… I qouted you, lol, read what you wrote. Incase you don’t want to scroll up, I’ll add it again below.

What you’re doing right now is purposely being argumentative and dismissing the experience of another player because you play with a buddy. And While it’s great that you may only play duo’s with a Buddy, others who utilize the mode at times play with random players. So since you do not play with random people (which is totally fine) this particular thread does not apply to you, as you have clearly pointed out.

OP you’re not solving the problem with any reporting or banning or anything else against randies. This is a systemic problem with ALL team games on the internet without exception; I’ve been seeing it for years in WoW; I have never seen any game being free from it.

Even if you ban them or blacklist they keep coming back; you’re not playing with the same people; chances are you only banned/blacklisted 0.01% of those who would match with you in the future.

The only solution is playing with online or otherwise friends. And the more you raise rank the easier to find toxicity if you don’t do that.

I never mentioned blacklisting, nor am I implying that it would prevent bad behavior 100%. That is unrealistic.

However, what is realistic is having a multiplayer game with a reporting feature. Every other multiplayer game has one. While there will always be players who enjoy being toxic for whatever reason, it would not be difficult for Blizzard to implement a system like this for Duos.

Whether Blizzard decides to implement a system that allows players to report matches like this is completely up to them.

The in-game reporting appears to be ignored when it exists even in their cash cow (WoW).

There’s probably already an official way to get Blizzard’s attention,

make a web ticket that asks for action against a TOS violation.

But I don’t know if it’s against the TOS,

it probably is as “disrespectful”.

because they will play 2-3 rounds then just sell all cards and dont leave
