2.5K armor with Linecracker and Bees!

Apparently I can neither post link or images, but whatever. Got the idea when Bees! was revealed and it took three different lists and four losses but I finally managed to pull off the combo.

Interesting, but I still dont understand how you did this, care to explain?

its been posted on reddit a bunch since the cards were revealed.

use bees to keep doubling attack on linecracker, and earthen scales to gain the armor from its attack

Discount Linecraker to 0 with Florist. Double Bees! into Line equals 1280 ATK. Double Earthen Scale for the armor.

Haha that’s awesome. Nice job.

this seems like a real good idea for a new toggwaggle deck, could be rather consistent maybe

im sure he will be nerfed to say ā€˜attacks and kills minion’ :point_right:

It’s the same setup that it takes to construct a combo that actually wins games (setup turn with discount, then 5 card combo), so there’s really no grounds to nerf. You could run Malygos and 2x Swipe + 2x Moonfire and kill your opponent instead with identical setup, so it’s stictly worse. This also functionally wins the game, but you still have the risk of being killed by 4 Horsemen or Mecha’thun or other stuff like that.

You can use Floops Glorious Goop + Innervate and you don’t need the setup turn with Florist.

Linecracker>Innervate>Floops Glorious Goop>BEEEES!!!>BEEEES!!!>Earthen Scales>Earthen Scales

As an added bonus, you get another 1200 armor

Don’t have the Glorious one unfortunately.

Linecracker & Bees is the Druid Inner Fire / Divine Spirit.

I think it’s okay if we call this ā€œConcede Druid,ā€ right?

I mean, that’s the only thing to do upon seeing 2000+ armor. Even Exodia Mage only has time to chew through about 150-200 per turn depending on APM. Taking 20 turns of fatigue damage only amounts to less than a tenth of its armor.

Even ā€œinfiniteā€ decks would find this daunting to face.

I’m down with that. It’s also concede druid cause once the combo gets disrupted you likely have no choice but to concede.

7 of 30/30 Jade Golems will deal with it in 10 rounds.

Poison seeds. Just turn those golems into 2/2s and never play anything so they have a full board and can’t make more golems. Game either ends in a draw or with them conceding out of boredom.

I went against this deck the first time yesterday with my big Priest. Except my Big Priest had 30/30 Ancient Ones that slammed his face while he did nothing. Baited his Poison Seeds and Naturalizes. Took me a while, but a full board with Rags, 30/30 Ancient Ones, a statue, and Y’Sharaaj still chipped 2,000+ armor by the time fatigue went around.

Cool deck, but still doesn’t beat Big Priest.

They have to ^^ The idea is awesome but I have seen YouTubers pulling this off way too consistently. It also wouldn’t be a real ā€œnerfā€ because Linecracker was never intended to work differently than attacking+overkill.

Can’t wait for the 400 dust for mine

My alternate sample of 1 games says otherwise. Not worried about the match-up though. I’m already experimenting with a single Jade Idol just for possible scenarios like this. That’s also not the deck’s biggest issue.

Wild is full of faster decks that can outrace and hit lethal before the combo can be setup; and slower decks can tech in multiple combo disruptions if this somehow ever becomes meta.

I had no idea this was a thing until I faced this just now. I suppose hyper aggro decks are the way to go in this meta to avoid facing this again.

I think they will change how Overkill works as this will probably cause too much design issue down the road. But this would be a mechanic change so no dust. Otherwise they need to refund all Overkill cards.
