Hello everyone,

We’ll be releasing an emergency hotfix today targeting a few bugs, including the Real ID one (please see the current highlight here for more information).

Real ID

If you’re using a desktop client:

  • Once the deployment is completed, you will need to restart your client.

  • If you enabled Streamer Mode enabled, this will remain on (to toggle this option on/off, press Ctrl + Shift + S while the game is running).

  • If you are streaming, please consider doing a test run off-stream first and try and change your game region.

Note: If you disabled your Real ID setting, please note that it won’t be re-enabled automatically with this update.

If you’re using a mobile client:

  • Mobile update should happen at the same time (a delay is expected for Chinese mobile clients)

  • If your app doesn’t prompt an update, you will need to push one manually from the app store.

:loudspeaker: We will update this thread once we complete the Desktop deployment and we’ll be closely monitoring the situation afterwards – please let us know if the issue persists for you.

What else is being fixed:

  • [Battlegrounds] Lava Lamp now correctly tracks minions

  • [Battlegrounds] Fixed an issue with Polarizing Beatboxer affecting the Tavern pool

  • [Battlegrounds] Great Boars Sticker now has correct cost in-game.

  • [Battlegrounds] Baller Portrait now correctly updates elementals counter.

What is not being targeted with this emergency deployment:

Opponents appearing as “Your Opponent” in game rather than with their BattleTags – this bug will be fixed in a future update.

The game for IOS is kind of bugged, when i open the game it asks to open the app store to download the update, when I enter the App Store, the game stays on “Open”, no “Update” button. The whole problem is that i cant update it neither from the game itself, nor the app store.

Yup same here. I’ve deleted and redowloaded the app but still can’t login. Says update in App Store, but no update button…

Update for iOS: we’re seeing a short delay with the deployment there. If you’re trying to play/update on iOs, you might see this error:

Hi, what about imbue rogue after Deathwing?

I updated the app in iOS, but the game won’t load up. It’s stuck on the opening screen with no indication that it’s updating or downloading anything.

EDIT - worked after getting on home wifi.

What about not Arena and the bug where arena wins don’t count? Not a word about the arena?

Are you still seeing your real name in game (it is visible to you only) instead of the Battletag?

Are you on a PC or on a mobile device? If you’re on mobile, could you please indicate its make/model?

Please add the following info as well:

  • What region you are playing on?
  • Did you change your region after the hotfix?
  • Were you disconnected during your games?
  • Please confirm you have the new update (35.2.2.240818)

Game still seems to disconnect on S26 Ultra devices when frame rate is set to High, Medium and low work just fine though.

Today my battletag is showing correctly, not my real name.

No I did not change regions after the hotfix.
I’ve only been disconnected in one match so far this season (which is amazing btw considering how often it happened in previous seasons, just saying. :slight_smile: )

the update is just 35mb but the download is just 1kb/s WTF is my internet speed joke to blizzard :expressionless_face:

Do you have you download setting in the blizzard options limited? You can change it if you have not already.

I check it right now the value was 1000 so I change it to 50000 just in case 1000 means 1000bytes but download still the same
