160 bucks for each individual pet, LOL

These madlads… 160 for each individual pet.

I was under the impression that 160 was for unlocking the pet and when a new one is launched you can simply switch between them.

But they want 160 dollars for each… omg, these people are insane.

Not just the pet but also a new Paladin skin with a card back is in the pool… is this really the direction they want the game to go?

This is what comes of “small government”. What they mean is no oversight for corporations and the already wealthy. Plenty of oversight for the public, though.

Stupid question as someone who will never buy a single runestone.

Whats the cost per “roll” of the prize roulette? In theory couldnt you win it on the free spin?

Granted this is Blizzard were talking about so highly doubtful and or rigged where you have to spend money…

Im curious if the people who have it (including the wallet warrior i faced earlier) all spent $160?

Meanwhile, females voicing all male protags in Japanese anime. Could still be a male with a female voice actor.

…or some kinda alphabet soup, who knows.

I was never going to buy any pets anyhow, but to see that they are more interested in things like this than the quality of gameplay makes me fear for the life of this product.
Short term cash grabs usually signal the end.

yeah could be a guy with a female voice it just does not fit him, he looks like a war veteran with a rugged face and a blind eye. its weird

I can’t post links, but here you go: warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Faerin_Lothar

The cost goes up each spin as does the chance of getting the pet, but the chance of the pet doesn’t even get out of under 1% until the 8th/9th spin. It is possible to get it with the free spin, just HIGHLY unlikely

Don’t buy em.

They are likely making a whole lot off of the Darkmoon Faire. It’s not the ones who straight up pay it out to get the pet they make money from. It’s all the players that go a couple of steps beyond that free spin hoping to get the better prizes. That all adds up in the end.

I’m a little surprised we got the pet instead of the skin they used in the Chinese Darkmoon Faire.

“oh you sweet summer child” lol. Even if every pet was included the price would still be outrageous imo but that would be too generous for Blizzard.

I’m a little surprised that there isn’t some free or at least somewhat affordable “basic pet” option to get people using the system. Instead it’s straight to the $160 reaming.

They cut out game boards and a bunch of other features for it, spent like 2 years hyping up this exciting pet feature, and then this is what we got /facepalm

And yet people still spent the money to obtain the pet, so apparently Blizzard made the “right” call
