Standard is standard and now Wild is Standard?

I am so pissed! I always play Wild because I like to keep my decks intact and tweak them as I see fit, but now I have decks rendered useless on the Wild ladder because not all expansions are Wild? Isn’t that the same as Standard? So Standard is standard an now Wild is too? What the heck???

New cards are often created for core set and when they are removed from core you have to create them if you want to play them in wild.

If your actual problem is that cards are missing from your decks, then for heaven’s sake say that!

Wild decks can contain cards from any expansion set, even ones that are currently in Standard, so this cannot be a wild issue.

I suspect it is because you had some cards in your decks that were created specifically as part of the core set and were never part of any expansion. And thus you did not truly own those cards, they were only on loan from blizzard.

And with yesterday’s yearly rotation, blizzard took back those loans.
