I cracked my opponent for 41 to the face on turn seven this morning playing paladin for my quest. It was pretty funny, honestly.

Yea Paladin handbuff, while tough to defeat, at least costs mana and you can mount some defense against it.

Cant really stack enough bodies to defend against multiple 5 damage 0 costs.

(Let alone the recasting if they play the Tourist)

I just had a game where I, as mage, dealt 26 damage from hand.

That involved a combination of getting multiple lucky discovers/spell gen, including a couple from primordial glyph where the discount mattered.

Oh and of course an opponent who happens to be slow enough to let me live that long while not having insane armor/healing/disruption/etc to go for a long game.

But if I was druid, it sounds like it’d be a loooooot easier to pull off.

Inb4 summoning Mallenroh to tell us how mage is shafted. I think this is a case where it’s druid or whoever else is too strong.

But always remember this is still the beginning of new expansion.

I once copped some 55 damage vs druid. I was Excavate Rogue, had a full board of 7 minions with about 25 combined life, I was on 30. Dude druis cleared my entire board and me t7.
