World's Crown - Guide Quests and Exploration Achievements

So, logging in after the patch, I’m greeted with a new Guide Quest…

Really? A legendary with Paragon 50+ from a zone that came out when most players were Paragon 580+

And then we have the introduction of a set of Exploration tasks for World’s Crown…

I have already met the conditions for every single task in that meta but they’re not marked as complete. They also don’t make a lot of sense. For example, I have…

  • Diablo Slain (1/1) - Defeat Diablo the Lord of Terror
  • The Lord of Terror (0/1) - Defeat Diablo in World’s Crown

I presume the first one (completed) is for the storyline version of Diablo and the second one (uncompleted) is for the challenge mode version?

Frankly, it’s ludicrous that you’d introduce achievements for completing things in a new zone weeks after the release of the zone itself.

This definitely was an odd thing to do. Like everyone else, I expected these achievements to be released with the zone. Still, better late than never.

I spent around three hours running around the zone, probably covered every part of it a dozen times, and not even so much as a hint of that rare mob. (At least it took care of an event’s “collect 50 monstrous orbs” task whilst I was out there).

I found him on Hell I so if he’s not there on INF4, try other difficulties.

No, disappointed because it’s such obvious quality testing / assurance that the achievements that go with new content should come out at the same time the content is released.

I’ll continue to post critiques, helpful stuff like guides / locations and bug reports.
By all means, if your reason for posting is just to be snippy, you do you.
Each to their own.

This is a critique? A careful and detailed analysis and assessment? Hardly! It’s nothing more than a complaint about something that’s past the point of being corrected. I’ll have some cheese with that whine thanks.

Almost two weeks since the patch that introduced the World’s Crown exploration…

So, after 26 sets of Bounties, not a single one has been for World’s Crown.

For bonus comedy points, prior to the introduction of the Exploration tasks I’d had World’s Crown bounties three or four times in the preceding week.

That’s crazy. I’ve gotten least half of them so far myself and that’s onto doing them twice a week

Nineteen days after the exploration tasks were introduced, finally got some…

That means 37 sets of bounties since these were introduced before I got a set for World’s Crown. Something tells me it’s going to take a while to 100% this one.
