The next chapter in the Age of Unmaking dawns—contend for your soul in the Crucible of Justice main quest, and fight through the new Vanguard co-op mode.
Clan Leaders Name Changes
Clan Leaders can now change the name of their Clan at the cost of 1,500 Platinum. To prevent overuse, there is a 7-day cooldown period after a name change before another one can be purchased.
Few months late when the color code (fff0f…) screwed up my clan name, but I guess it is better late than never.
Battleground Damage Reduction Changes
The damage reduction in Battlegrounds and Rite of Exile has been increased from 30% to 40%.
You know, I am expecting more BG balance changes than this. Kinda disappointed.
Random Dungeon Finder Matchmaking Changes
When matchmaking using the Random Dungeon finder, you can now vote to remove a member of your party before inactivity is detected. Initiating a vote requires you to select a reason as to why the party member is being removed, and if all players vote in agreement that member will be removed.
Each player will be able to start a vote every 30 seconds. If someone is voting a third time in a single dungeon instance (regardless of who they’ve elected to remove), their cooldown to initiate a removal will be increased to one minute a vote.
Voting to remove a member from your party will not prevent the loss of the final 4 player chest.
Good change. No more AFK leechers in RDG.
Abyssal Verge Changes
We’ve made a few changes within the Abyssal Verge to make the mode more approachable. Abyssal Verge will drop the daily limited small gems when playing in a 4-player party. The boss’s final location will now be marked on the map, who also spawns much earlier in the mode. Additionally, footsteps will appear directing you towards the final boss location.
Is it a new set of daily gems or is it the daily gems but easier to farm with a 100% drop rate or it just enable the “Gem FInd” buff in Verge now?
Is this a joke or a late april’s fool patch notes? You really have the audacity to call it a major update…
It seems the quality is just on a downhill this year, from patch to patch the changes become more and more disappointing.
Where are the updates to Accursed Towers? If no update then why are they being reset early?
Actually…
Voting to remove a member from your party will not prevent the loss of the final 4 player chest. Additionally, the inactivity detection system will still be active under these updates. If a vote is enabled and the kicked already meets those conditions, the player will be immediately removed without a need to vote. This update also removes the ability for the party leader to kick players while using the Random Dungeon finder.
I’ve emboldened the relevant section.
So, you join a random dungeon and there are two friends / clan-mates / warband members in the group. One of them just runs around at the entrance, so they avoid being flagged as AFK, but contributing nothing. The other one declines the vote to remove them. It used to be possible for the party leader to just remove them. Now it won’t be.
I’m really hoping some of the possible kick reasons you can choose from will include non-contribution, dying all the time, insufficient CR for the difficulty they joined at, and so on and that, if kicked for something like non-contribution, the kicked player should have a cooldown on being able to queue up again (like an AFK player in BGs would get).
I guess the video’s Top Secret…
And as for…
Fabled Wisps Stacking Updates
Fabled Wisps can now stack up to 9,999. Stash Tabs everywhere, rejoice!
The pity counter for random dungeons is 7. So, assuming a normal distribution, the average number of runs required per set item would be 3.5 which means obtaining 9,999 wisps would require roughly thirty five thousand dungeon runs if you got 1 wisp per salvage. If you get some lucky bonus wisps, maybe this comes down to thirty thousand dungeons?
Seriously, who was this for?
Why haven’t the stack sizes for Voidblood Slag and Alchemical Powder been increased from 999 to 9,999? And why do Spirit Essences gained from Codex go into a separate stack from the rest of them?

I grabbed the original uri, up from above. The original video is still private… And the blog post was edited with the new video …
I noticed that their play lists have quiet a few non-public videos contained. I can’t see what those videos are. Maybe they have more in queue?
