Additions from chinese patch notes:
- Server Paragon will increase by 10 every monday 3:00 am
- New Helliquary Bosses System will be set to what you had unlocked before, therefore no first clear rewards for the new bosses
- Wisps can be turned in and will be replaced with new “wisps” that can be used for crafting (bit difficult to understand from chinese but convertion rate seems to be 7:1)
- current upgrade materials will be replaced by new upgrade materials (no mention of a convertion rate)
- Not purchased bundles for unlocked difficulties will still be available for purchase if they were unlocked
And also:
Wind Walk: Restores a portion of your maximum Life every few seconds. (english patch notes)
vs.
Wind Walk: during the effect, it returns 1% of your maximum life every 0.5 seconds, up to 6 times. (chinese patch notes)
Can you please give us something as detailed as that and not turn it into something that makes it sound like it will last forever?

After the difficulty is simplified, green equipment can be obtained. When decomposed, the suit essence of the corresponding difficulty can be obtained. The suit essence is used to create suits.
After this maintenance, you will no longer be able to create sets with set essences, but can exchange them for set essences at a ratio of:
- Set Essence·Hell 1~7 Exchange Set Essence·Hell 1 = 7:1
- Set Essence·Hell 8 Exchange Set Essence·Hell 1 = 1:1
- Set Essence·Disaster 1~2 Exchange Set Essence·Hell 2 = 7:1
- Set Essence·Calamity 3 Exchange Set Essence·Hell 2 = 1:1
- Set Essence·Calamity 4~5 Exchange Set Essence·Hell 3 = 7:1

Calamity 6 is their wording for Inferno 6. So, your current Inferno 6 wisps should turn into the new Hell 3 equivalent set item crafting material at a 1:1 ratio.
Yes, they had a typo in there which got fixed like 2 hours ago.
and the wisp conversion was what confused me, due to the not 1:1 conversion of inferno 6.

Another thing that is missing is what will happen to the 3 current game instances (Normal, Hell and Inferno). The relevant passage in the Chinese patch notes says players in Hell I-III will be able to play together, which suggests that the 3 instances will be reduced to 2. That’s a 33% drop in reward for Jurat farming, for example.
Forgive me, but what are you farming this for, after you’ve gotten the Codex achievement for having killed it once, that is?
I wonder how current Hell 3 work now. I saw it has lower CR entry now.
Does this mean the monsters in Hell 3 is weaker than the monsters in Inferno 6 now?
I’ve done some dungeons this morning and literally everything is just melting. The requirement for Hell 3 dungeons is 22520 CR so anyone that was appropriately geared for the old Inferno 6, i.e. 33700 CR, has just had dungeons completely trivialised.
Also, not in the patch notes that I could find (English or Chinese) is the fact that the Hell 3 Helliquary bosses, i.e. nominally the equivalent of the INF6 bosses yesterday, have had their CR requirements considerably lowered. For example…
Pre-Tempest Patch…
- INF6 CR
- Open World (33300)
- Dungeons (33700)
- Raid Bosses (33500, 34300, 34500, 34700, 34900)
- Gauntlet 6 (34900)
Post-Tempest Patch…
- Hell 3 CR
- Open World (21420)
- Dungeons (22520)
- Raid Bosses (22520, 24570, 26620, 30720, 34900)
- Gauntlet (34900)
They also HALVED the Hit Points on the Hell 3 Helliquary raid bosses compared to the Inferno 6 equivalents. I did a set of these raids this morning and on some of the bosses, the immunity phases lasted longer than killing the boss did. These bosses are now also a complete joke if you have the CR for them.
Literally the only remaining non-trivial content, for players that were CR-appropriate yesterday, is the final Gauntlet bosses, whose HP has NOT been altered.
You get 6 beguiling dust every time you kill him, even on normal. With 3 instances that was up to 18 dust per hour for little effort (subject to it not being killed by someone else). 2 instances reduces that to 12 per hour.
That… is pathetic reward. I think you can get more than 6 dusts every 30 minutes by doing overworld farming.
It’s different for different people. For someone who only joined when the game was already 1 year old and doesn’t have the time to actively farm to get that many, this might be the fastest way to get dust per time invested.
It is not though…I almost never do Jurat yet I have all Rank 30 gear just by doing dungeon runs and overworld farming.
It seems that they forgot to put Hell 4 in this patch.
Two year anniversary patch and Para 300+ maybe…

Most likely. Usually the new difficulty comes with new helliquarry bosses. That is like 2 weeks wait at best.

the skill is useless.
Y’all can fix it by adding a feature where taking DMG also increase anger which is what is shown in the trailer and increase dps.The transformation form can also have a life drain effect upto 30 percentage of health nd we should keep hitting enemies with our skill and primary to heal.there can also be other cool benefits…no one uses it nd I’m a die hard diablo fan.please consider this.
No one uses it! With the new class tempest being very strong and used by all consider this request.
