Whose bright idea was it to automatically activate Winds of fortune???
Does this person even play the game?
Activating on a Wednesday is beyond stupid, and cuts potential rewards by half.
Activating it automatically is bad enough… however, players cannot interrupt, pause, schedule or in any way CONTROL what should be occurring at the PLAYER’s prerogative.
Come on Blizzard. Do Better.
This shows astounding disregard for your players who have learned the game and you are now treating them like ignorant noobs.

Mine did not automatically activate, not on my main nor on my alt.
Winds of Fortune only runs until the 8th of May 3:00 am, so tonight. In the event information it states, that it will be activated automatically, if only 24 hours remain of the event period.
You simply waited too long and thus it activated last night at 3:00 am.
Well, crap…
I guess I missed it being there this weekend.
If I had, I would have activated Sunday evening.
I didn’t even know it was there until I got the notification dot for the automatic activation.
In my defense, events has been a crowded space of late.
It only automatically triggers when there is less than 24 hours until the event ends. They want to make sure that everyone gets the benefit from it.
This is why glancing over patch notes is huge.
