I have been farming open zones and killed many blue elite monsters for 2 days straight and I only found like 65/150 Stained Remains.
Do blue elite monsters even drop that?
Orange legendary mobs always drop some with the exception of Accursed Towers. I got a few from yellow mobs in Stormpoint. And others show up in the mail from who-knows-where.
Yep, as do yellow and orange elites. The materials drop from elites open world and in dungeons. So, if you spam dungeons you’ll cap out pretty quickly. I’d capped all four materials (iron, silver, stained remains and rhodolite) by yesterday afternoon.
The Stained Remains are a lot rarer than I expected. I’ve been capped on ore since right at launch, but still have 90 Stained to go. This morning I did 6 cdungeons, including 1 S-class mod, 0 remains…
I sorta assumed 2-3 per run would’ve been a given considering how easy the ore is.
I just ran the monk loop for just over an hour prob and got 60 or so. I feel it will be easier w a full week rather than 4 days
If you farm intensively in the open world, it will come out well. If you do about 3 bestiary pages (codex 3/3) a day as usual, you will probably collect it well without having to worry about it(without having to do any other special thing more only for it) for a week.
Temple of Namari - Each of the three random bosses as well as Sargoth can drop Remains. I usually get 2 drops out of the 4 bosses combined.
I only have 4 days in this week before te resets, so basically I need to increase playtime today until I reach the cap before the reset.
Probably wouldn’t be an issue on next week though.
But yeah, it seems the dungeon run is the best and most efficient way to farm the stained remains.
