What is "server equipment level, new player here

can someone please explain to me what the server equipment level is? ive only been playing 2 weeks, i just got over SPL so i lose the bonus self explanatory in the game, same with helliquary

but there is a 3rd condition “equipment level is lower than server” so i still get the bonus salvaging, except it does not give you the slightest indication as to what that level is or how close you are too it

there is zero info nobody ive asked knows, half didnt even know it was a thing blizzard needs to give this game some QoL stuff

yeah pretty sure nobody knows 100% its one if those bonuses that randomly appeared with no explanation or anything

im at 37k cR and still getting it, are you? whats your CR im assuming it has to do with that

ive never gotten it, I feel its got something to do with that or actual gear levels

whats your CR? maybe it is the gear? my secondarys are 19, but i left my main at 12 but im only 37-38k CR so cant tell what one it is lmao

For Helliquary, last time I check it was Level 48. And I remember it was lower before, they will sometimes shift the bar (maybe when new difficulties introduced, but not always). For equipments, it is total of your gear ranks combined. They intentionally won’t tell you what’s the server level so you won’t exploit it. Maybe. Either way kinda stupid system, just be transparent to us why hides information.

Edit: They will also count mats in your inventory, so even you intentionally dont want to upgrade, the bonus will stop when u reached the required materials anyway

I asked this back in January…

No-one knew then and no-one’s been able to work it out since.

I think it’s CR based despite saying ‘server helliquary level’. I have several alts I play irregularly but keep about the same level, one with helliquary rank 10 higher than the others (high 50s vs high 40s). All were getting the bonus for a while and then I did a round of crifts, scrap spending, and legendary gem ranks, gained about 1k CR and I noticed that 2 no longer have the bonus, but the high 50s one who has the lowest total CR still does.

My guess is at this moment the 2x cutoff is somewhere around 39.5K cr and rises either each week or is based on the current cr required for max difficulty level (ie 39.3K for I3).

However it works it’s rather awkward since you just lose it without any hint you’ve hit a threshold and it’s so valuable that you’d prefer to stay under it if possible.

That’s why I created the thread back in January, i.e. this is information that should be easy to find, but it’s literally not available in-game anywhere.

Yep, you’d think it’d simply be in the tooltip for the +100% bonus. It’s baffling that it still isn’t.

Read my post. It’s not CR. CR keep going up and down depends on what you’re wearing it, so it will never based on that. It is primary gear ranks, pretty obvious from the description. The only thing people don’t know is the exact rank combinations to end the bonus. Server’s helliquary pretty easy to figure out if you pay attention to the bonus everytime you upgrade.

I just told the exact method, and you need me to repeat? And even told the exact number of server HQ a bit up there. Dont be lazy. If you cant scroll up, read and understand, no kind of explanation will help you. That’s the most spoonfeed info you ever encounter. Good luck in life.

that ones actually easy its 1450 over here until tomorrow. Shows when you look at the ancestral tableau cr bonus per level. But yeah the rest of the bonuses are pretty hidden

thank you! im really curious though what the cut off is all my secondaries are 19 i left my main stuff at 12. i think i remember someone saying it stops at 13 or i guess whenever you have the mats to hit 13

so im not sure i know i have enough mats / gold to juice my primaries to 15 at least if not higher

Man another one that cant read. Just read all the conversation to get context, and be thankful that people actually gave you extra information. I also answered the initial question. I actually confirmed what you said earlier, and was replying to others. When I gave info, it was because I experimented with it, discussed with others, not just for the sake of arguing senselessly.

What’s your purpose entering forums? To argue with people? This forum is full of this kind of people that contributed negativity.

It’s not just gear level though. One of the characters I saw it turned off after upgrades, so next char I deliberately did an upgrade less. Still turned off after I messed around with other nongear upgrades.

And it can’t be counting mats in storage or it’d have turned off before I made any gear upgrades at all.

But yes, since CR can go up or down it’s not the cleanest route. My assumption was based on your highest CR since that is tracked for your World Conquest stat already.

So, come on then, if you total the rank of your eight legendary items, what does that total have to be before you lose the helliquary scrapping bonus and how would you find out what that total is?
