Played 5 vault defenses as Immortal tonight, and got spawn camped 5 times, and lost all the fights without doing anything. Zero hilts are earned after one hour of playthrough.
The enemy team was so smart they timed their abilities to activate them until the Immortal’s invulnerability ran out.
Seriously, Blizzard. If you guys are not interested in fixing this spawn camp nonsense, at least give the losing Immortal some hilts as compensation. Imagine that wasted an hour for nothing.

Another day where I lost to spawn camp tactics from the shadow. Already wasted 2 hours this week for nothing.
Just wait till your shadows figure out that triggering the warden on floor 2 messes up the matchmaking queue and doesn’t let immortals skip strong opponents if autoskip is on
that’s when the real fun starts
Shadows can make the immortals join on Floor 2 already by letting the warden alert them.
If the Immortals have “skip Strong Shadow Parties” enabled on it somehow bugs that mechanism and ignores the Resonance/Combat Rating and sends whoever is first in Queue.
(plus the Immunity shield on Floor 2 for immortals bugs out from time to time and doesn’t work)
Basically you can get thrown with an average 2k reso immo party against a high reso shadow party and can be dead before you even finnished loading

Another week as Immortal where I spent an hour for zero hilts because my team kept getting spawn camp and was to do anything. We just die.
In fact Blizzard not doing anything to remedy things seems like they encourage this toxic behavior. If that is the case, why they put anti-spawn camp in BG for attacker?
It’s not toxic, it’s a tactic and it’s one that you can counter. The Immortals spawn into the Vault with a 100% damage immunity shield, which only drops if they move or after a number of seconds. That gives you more than enough time to see that the Shadows are camping, and to utilise your hero’s own immunities / mitigation skills before moving and engaging them.
Wizard has no immunities though, and the smart shadows timed and rotated their skills to make sure regardless of when you moved or invulnerability wore off, you always got cc’ed, at least in my case. Until now I don’t think I ever won a siege on my own or with a similar reso teammate.
Only once I saw my 9k whale teammate brute force the siege and carry us to victory.
