Attention Blizz Reps!! Do Not remove the option to stay lvl99! Please only remove the H1 raid boss requirement, but do not completely remove the option to stay at level 99! I have been playing since the beginning, and I’ve had my level 99 alt for fun on the side and I like not having all the extras from the higher levels that just add additional stress; sometimes it’s nice to just chill. I spend a lot of time and resources on my level 99, for that to get all flushed down the drain. Because of this, one update would be a true misfortune, and extremely disheartening.
I know the update is impending, but I’m not sure how this is going to roll out…

Too late, it’s being removed in tomorrow’s patch. All the XP you’ve earned whilst “stuck” at 99 will get applied too, so your hero’s likely to be way, way higher than 100 after the patch.
I think this relates to a certain platinum farming method using alts that “requires” staying at paragon 99.
If that really is the case, good job for once, Blizzard!
Or folks that enjoyed playing lower level battlegrounds.
Being forced to 100+ means they’ll also be put into higher bracket PvP.
I have seen P99 multiple times in my BG though. 
Being P99 won’t save you from getting massacred by P400 F2P players.
Small but great QoL feature added: getting a duplicate bestiary page no longer opens bestiary itself.
