Contribute in that one, no need for another thread on the same thing.

Shearpain my friend. Ignore the self-appointed forum patrol. He’s racked up hundreds of posts saying this to every newcomer in the forums as if they should have read every post since the creation of the forum.

You have every right to post it as a new topic because it’s new to you.

At the time the OP made their post, the thread with over 90 replies was maybe 5 or 6 from the top of the forum, i.e. very easy to spot, and with a title that makes it readily apparent that it’s about the very subject the OP wanted to discuss.

Why the hostility? He’s correct. Creating another thread on the same subject while the existing thread is still very active can be interpret as spam which is a CoC violation.

Give me a reason not to flag this thread.

They like to troll and attack one of the players who actually try to help keep some organization on this forum. I tend to just report their comments and ignore them.

It’s my opinion that NO ONE in this forum with the exception of the forum moderators has the right nor is any one being asked to enforce the terms of conduct in the forums. If Blizzard wants to enforce the rules, then let Blizzard do it themselves.

It’s not our place to regurgitate the rules, especially for newcomers to the forum.

And when you consider the posts made, each time the rules are mentioned, they have literally nothing to do with the topic being presented/discussed. In effect, every post admonishing someone about the rules is OFF TOPIC and therefore in violation of the COC as well.

He forwarded you to a post where your question has over 100 replies and an in depth discussion on the subject. Why start it again? Ok you didn’t know about the other post. So let’s move the subject over there and let this one end.
