The game hangs when viewing special map from Geherit, The Veiled Spring

In addition to a description of the bug you are reporting, please provide:

The quest is called An Elder’s Hope. When I follow the NPC Geherit, we go to a place called The Veiled Spring. After some conversation, I’m supposed to “Inspect Scroll”. Then a map comes up, with the prompt “Click to close”, but no amount of clicking will close it.

I have just had this happen to me as well. I also had it happen to me when I had to put the map for the Forgotten Sea together. The way I got around the issue with the forgotten sea map was to close the game and reload. I have yet to reload and see if I can progress the An Elder’s Hope quest or not.

Thanks for the note – I’ve closed the game a few times, and I still have the problem.

I am at the same place. Windows 10, PC, Nvidia Video. 16gb ram, 4gb video ram. The character I am playing is the Tempest.
