Terror essence x10 disappear after 1 HSB

I run terror rifts on Sundays, so I start the week with 10+ terror essences. I did that yesterday. I ran 4 upgraded bounties today, which I can confirm by looking at the Terror Essence entry on my Codex. (It shows 3/10 consumed and 1 reward claimed. I leave the 10th until the new week to claim.). When running the 4th one, my number of available terror essences went from 10 to 0.

Did you perhaps do a single Enchant of a class-specific attribute on a legendary item at the Blacksmith? In addition to the usual Enchant materials, this costs 10 Terror Essence per attempt.
