It is clear that the incentive to share blessings to get a random legendary is no longer appealing to many, so many shadows rather choose to be AFK now, even sometimes they somehow get the Blessing but CHOOSE not to share it with others.
So I feel it is time for DI Team to update the Blessing reward from getting [a random legendary] to getting [a random legendary or set item] or increase [the quality of the random legendary], such as [guaranteed 3 stats legendary item]
Set Item will always be valuable to chase, even if it rolled a crappy roll because you can salvage it into a wisp, and people love to collect wisps.

I said at the time this was introduced, that it made very little sense for the blessings to be a push mechanic, i.e. the blessed player has to choose to pass it onto others, as this means that if the player that gets blessed is AFK (or chooses to ignore it) they don’t pass it onto the four players they could.
It makes much more sense for it to be a pull mechanic, i.e. when a player gets the blessing, up to four other players can click on them to “pull” one of their four blessings from them. This way, it doesn’t matter one jot whether players are AFK or not because, if an AFK player gets the blessing, four players can still get their blessing from them by pulling it from them.
Hey presto, a system that works and doesn’t care if players are AFK or not!
Instead, they went with what they went with.

It’s an unenforceable mechanic as it stands. So many players log in at lunch and then just leave their character unattended for 15 minutes while they eat, work or travel, etc.
I would be much more in favor of a blessing being conferred simply by being present at the beginning of each of the 4 blessing intervals.

There are many players, both shadows and immortals that do this. There are also many players that that do raids at the same time as blessing and can be perceived as AFK. There are even players that do not share blessings for any other number of reasons.
