It’s sad that you get up at 3am for the daily reset and then get blocked from doing the 3 tasks battlefield, treasury and collecting blessings. If you’ve been pushing for your ranking for 3 weeks and getting the maximum out of it, something like that just shouldn’t happen. Make the 20 shadow tasks into a large selection like with the Immortals and everyone will be happy. But not like this!
I finished mine easily enough? Not exactly sure what your complaint is other than the choices required you to wait to complete them?
They want to slow progression as much as possible to string players along. It’s a common tactic in P2W mobile games.
What are you talking about? They made it faster not slower. They auto repopulate as you finish them you don’t need to wait till 3am for new tastes anymore.
He’s saying that his current 3 tasks are Raid The Vault, Participate in BG, and Shadow Assembly. Since it’s Sunday, he could only do the BG one since Vault and Assembly are closed.
They technically made it ‘a bit’ faster, but you’re still getting time gated on these activities vs the Immortal dailies.
No, sry but you both don’t understand… I get 20 new shadow quests on Monday early morning 3 AM. So my aim was to reach my max Shadow Rank to get Place 1-3 in Shadow Ranking of our server.
This was not possible, when i get these 3 quests and were blocked till 8 AM when BG starts.
I understand just fine. I was saying the same thing back in December 2023, long before they changed the tasks to always have 3 available…
Yesterday morning, even with three tasks always being available, I still got stuck…

Your accusation only works if WE CAN BUY TO SKIP / COMPLETE SHADOW PROGRESSION.
I understand that people get those tasks randomly, I’ve been a victim to that task combination quite a few times myself.
It’s a bit discouraging if you have a friendly little competition, you get up early and then just see other players smoothing through their tasks while you are timelocked till BG opens…
Don’t see a real solution to that problem, unless you go for every player gets the exact same tasks in the exact same order.

If they encoded it so that at least one of the three tasks isn’t a time-locked activity (i.e. not BG, not Vault, not Blessings) that would accomplish this, as everyone could do 18/20 and then have a rush at 12:00 to get a Vault run and/or a Blessing done. Not only does lead to some excitement at 12:00 for those of us that are vying for Rank 1 Shadow, it means people don’t have to get up at silly o’clock to compete.

I was about to say something like this. Just have one of the slots to always exclude timegated tasks. Would solve so much.

Guess what? Due to circumstances I wasn’t able to start playing today at an ideal time and as a result I was able to complete only 5/20 tasks before timegated tasks filled all 3 slots. Raid, Assembly and BG are my next tasks. Now I have to wait until evening for them become available.
I got this result this morning…
I had pretty much the same thing last week too. Thought they might have actually changed it but seems from your experience that I guess I just got really lucky.
