I logged in for the first time today and the shadow quest log said I had already completed a contract. I go to the bartender to start doing shadow contracts and it would not allow me to click on chest 1 out 3 for the rewards (770 marks) I completed 2 contracts and was unable to start a 3rd contract and unable to click on chest 1 rewards for the 770 marks. I’ve restarted the game multiple times with no luck, I’m currently 8th on the server for shadows and have no chance to climb the ranks because of the missing 770 marks.
Did you send your Familiars out to do a Contract?
If so, that would mean you would only have access to the other two Contracts / 770 mark chest rewards. The third chest will become available once the familiars complete the Contract. From what I recall, I think sending all four Familiars out on a Contract takes six hours to complete.

Sending 4 bonded familiars to do a Shadow Contract takes 4H 30M and when finished, the contents of the reward chest are claimed at Nisza’s.

The familiar was the problem! I didn’t even think to consider the familiars when wondering what happened.
