Reserved experience for stubborn H8 players after new paragon update

Hi my beloved developers,

I hope you guys will not forget about reserved experience for people who intentionally stayed at 799. Yes I wont click that “Advance to Inferno” button until the end. I wanted to stay on lower tier and just see what will happen, since new difficulties beyond current Inf6 will not be introduced on this 23rd. Currently we dont know if Hell 1 will be the lower tier in leaderboards, or all Normal through Hell 3 will be under the same bracket, just like how N - H8 currently is. So I will stay at 799. It is also my alt so I don’t mind, so please other players stop telling me what is there in inferno.

But again, please developers don’t forget to consider our reserved exp when converting to new system

From the Chinese patch note:

Originally, you need to reach level 799 to graduate to level 800 and enter the disaster difficulty. After adjustment, it has been simplified to level 99 to graduate to level 100 and enter the hell difficulty 2. The Secret Realm Solo Challenge Disaster List, Holy Relic War Song Disaster List, and Domination Battlefield Disaster List have been adjusted to Secret Realm Solo Challenge Master List, Holy Relic War Song Master List, and Domination Battlefield Master List. The rules for being on the list after graduation are no longer the same. Change.

I am glad everything is retained, but sadly it is not practical anymore to stay if your primary gear ranks are above 20. We can no longer farm newer mats to upgrade them in new Hell 1. Unless you dont really play that account and dont care about gear progression.

It was never practical. You could have enough cr from your gear, hq and wb to easily farm inf 5 ow or even inf 6 ow. The extra slots and inferno essence gave so much more power compared to what you could have up to h8…

Was there some logic remaining at H8 with the old system other than seeing if the reserved XP transfers properly to the new system?

read my post again, especially the last sentence in the first paragraph :wink: Also either I was wrong or the dev sneakily fix it, I can completely farm in new H1 and get the mats to upgrade my primary gear all the way to rank 30

Absolutely. Although it will be lengthy to explain. You can read the reddit post linked above. Many 799’s shared on why, how, blablabla there. I will stay at new Hell 1 now

Nothing except for ego. Staying on P799 doesn’t even prevent one from getting queued with Inferno players in the BG. Not only that, but one also misses a lot of exclusive legendaries, set items, inferno helliquarry boss fights, achievements, heroes journal rewards, and extra 4 gear slots that can be only accessible to Inferno players.

Yeah whatever dude. Just stop lecturing, I have char in Inferno. Clearly I know better than you. I dont expect you to be able to read from the reddit link, but at least read the initial post here. I wont miss anything either with proper prep, which already explained in Reddit.

There is no more P799, its P99 now :wink: . And now its easier to do anything since we share the same instance as H3. BG is not the focus of the game anyway, why you’re fretting on it? Oh I know, you’re trying to blame your lost? lol
