[ Request ] Let me turn off notifications about Destruction's Call

Please give the player the option to turn off notifications of this event…

If a player sent as many messages as the system does about this I’d have blocked them already.

I took part in the event on the day it went live, but I haven’t been back, and I have absolutely zero interest in ever doing so again. Please let me stop being nagged to take part.

Meteorblade, you’re very active today.

I don’t care about the frequency of notifications personally, but when I click to open the chat window, if I accidentally click that green link [Click to navigate], it teleports me straight to the Ancients’ Cradle without asking, which is really annoying.

And I don’t know whether you know or not,
if you play Destruction’s Call once a week, you get a guaranteed legendary item, a rhodolite and etc. Please note. That’s why I play it once on Mondays.

The DI team should add a feature that allows the players to toggle ON/OFF on the notifications.

this should be in the recruitment tab rather than world chat… that channel is there for a reason im sure they forgot about

Yes, I know, but I’d refer you back to…

On a Monday morning I run 6 HSBs, 4 Oblivion Pillars and 10 Terror Rifts
I’m usually capped on iron ore / silver ore / rhodolite long before I finish the TRs.

I have zero interest in this PvP event for the sake of a single legendary.

This brings back the shardstorm conversation. How much time is 1 Lego worth to you? Plus an event that you queue up for without it being garunteed to begin. I’d much rather focus on events and sources I know to be reliable rather than ones that dangle carrots

In a dungeon group and clicked on Destruction’s Call?

  • Congratulations, you’ve been teleported to Ancient’s Cradle and you lost your dungeon

In a Hidden Lair and clicked on Destruction’s Call?

  • Congratulations, you’ve been teleported to Ancient’s Cradle and you lost your Lair

In a raid and clicked on Destruction’s Call?

  • Congratulations, you’ve been teleported to Ancient’s Cradle and you lost your raid kill / remains

In a Battleground and clicked on Destruction’s Call?

  • Congratulations, you’ve been teleported to Ancient’s Cradle, you lost your Battleground and have the deserter cooldown preventing re-queue

Please, let players turn this absolute annoyance off.
