I love playing a summoner necromancer, but I find it annoying that my mage armies don’t survive whenever I zone to a new area (or through many zones within dungeons). In particular, I find it annoying that I can pre-summon my mage army and join helliquary raids with them. I have a raid gear setup designed to deal maximum damage through my mages, but often I’m still in the middle of resummoning my mage army when my teammates kill the boss. Please make it so that mages survive when zoning. Thanks!
The mages need more improvements than just this. At least in dungeons all minions zone in with the player.
Additional improments needed:
- Ability to summon multiple mages at once. The biggest disadvantage of the build is that summoning all 6 mages takes too much time.
- The range of Decrepit Visage essence needs to be much, much, MUCH longer. Since the mages have the intelligence of a retarded cinder block, they constantly wander too far from the golem and thus despawn.
No, the mages don’t zone into dungeons with the player, which makes it a pain to use mages armies when spamming challenge dungeons.
True, the mages don’t zone from the outside into dungeons. However there’s been improvements that in certain dungeons where the mages would previously despawn when moving to the nextzone within the dungeon (example: Tristram Cathedral elevator) now the mages do follow.
Still, merely having the ability to spawn multiple mages at once would go a long way. It would cut down the time waiting to be able to do proper amount of damage. Also if for example a some boss manages to kill most mages in one attack, you lose a lot of DPS and getting back takes time, this is another case where a multi summon with a single cast would help.
