Please nerf Fallen Firestarters already!

The game has been out for almost 3 years now, and yet these little scamps with their fireballs’ ridiculous damage, coupled with the fact that the hit radius is about 5 times the size of the visual effect, are still possibly the most powerful mobs in the game.

The situation is the worst in Erebban, where if you roll Fallen as enemies, unless you’re one of the classes that can heal/shield, you’re almost guaranteed to die before getting out.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t think that a player with 6k resonance, 49k CR, ~5k secondary stats should be killed in 2-3 hits from the lowliest of demons.

If I go down so easily, what about new players?

(Needed to let this out because it’s really irritating.)

IMO, it happens with most “ranged” mobs. Archers, lancers, the spitting mosquitoes or spiders… They seem to have almost perfect aim, ludicrous damage and many of them not only hit, but also apply continuous damage (fire, poison) so it’s not just the hit, it’s the life lost in the next 1-2 seconds after being hit. If you’re playing with a class/build that can only attack while being stopped, like my Wizard, it can be a nightmare :smile:

Succubus is also scary. :sweat_smile:
I don’t know if the exact name in DI of the monster I’m thinking of is succubus. A female demon with sexy breasts.
