I was recently permanently banned after playing for 3 days as a tempest. I am not even sure why I was banned. I don’t talk to anyone in game- so it can’t be via conversation. I simply played 3 days as the new Tempest style character and beefed him to paragon 12.
Now I will admit, I play with an xbox controller because it is easier on me than KB and mouse. I also admit that the tempest class seems a bit broken as do all new classes in games like DI. What I do not like is the fact that I got to enjoy the game for 3 days, work hard- actually ENJOY the game and feel like I was getting somewhere only to have my account banned inexplicably.
NO it is not an explanation to say “We feel you used something to cheat- though can’t identify what- and have decided based on this feeling to ban you. We also likely will never let you play the one game you enjoyed of ours again.”
Blizzard- please rethink this issue. You really should require proof of that kind of cheating- like ACTUAL proof and not guess work that happens 3 hours after someone has logged off and gone to bed.
