Dear Sir/Madam,
As you are aware, the recent update to Diablo Immortal has changed the Elder Rift drop table to a predefined selection of gems, allowing players to select only one additional gem for each quality tier (1-star, 2-star, 3-5-stars).
I have invested significant effort and resources into upgrading five-star gems, such as Hellfire Fragment and Howler’s Call. Furthermore, I also require Concentrated Will and Zwenson’s Haunting as resonance slot gems for Hellfire Fragment, Blood Soaked Jade, Frozen Heart, and Howler’s Call—all of which are now excluded from the current drop table.
With the current system, my only option is to select one gem at a time to add to the Elder Rift drop table, significantly reducing my chances of upgrading these gems. This change, made unilaterally, has left me feeling penalized compared to other players.
Below are some potential solutions to address this issue:
- Gem Replacement: Allow players who have invested in excluded gems to replace those gems with others of the same quality and rank.
- Essence Extraction and Transfer: Implement a mechanic to extract and transfer essence between legendary gems as an alternative to gem replacement.
- Expanded Drop Table Selection: Enable players to choose all gems to include in the Elder Rift drop table (including the first 16 gems), similar to what was possible during previous events.
I kindly ask for your guidance on how to proceed, as I am currently holding off on spending my crests and upgrading resonance slot gems pending your feedback.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Saverio
