Monks are the least effective class in the game in PVP. Many distance classes have very high DPS while monks’ distance DPS is immensely lower. There is no reason that different classes have FAR different DPS. Each class should have similar DPS to keep an enjoyable, even playing field.
The Monk’s Inner Sanctuary size was drastically reduced in size. Both the Sphere and the Circle were shrunk in size. Previously, they were both the same size as the green Circle from 6 pieces of Vithu’s Urge. It definitely got “silent nerfed”! I am certain it was from so many classes finally dying in PVP from Monks or because of assists from them. The monk class is the smallest minority in the game, as such Demon Hunters, Blood Knights, & others have a much louder voice to the Devs. Monks got closer to “equals” in PVP and the masses cried to the Devs since they were finally a threat!
If you think Monks are equal to the other classes, then how many times do you see a Monk as VIP in Battlegrounds???! Sadly, just like in the real world, the loudest voices were listened to, no matter how correct they are.
There is no reason a 2k resonance player, with gems of level 5, and CR of 3k should routinely be pitted against 3-5k resonance players with level 10 gems, and CR of 4-5k in Battlegrounds. CR, gem levels, and resonance should all be factors in matchmaking. Paragon levels should be the least important factor.
