My Legions of Horror reward today for 35 crests of terror was an item for another class sporting the label “class ineligible”. This was the first time I ever received a primary gear reward or drop that was not for my class. Please pay your interns who code these events a little more so they can ensure that rewards are useful to your customers. I wish I could get a refund and try again after you fix it, but I know that’s a lot to ask. Oh well.

I had exactly the same issue yesterday. I submitted a ticket and received a reply that I could merely extract the essence. Well you cannot extract an essence for an item that is not for your class so the GM’s are sadly uninformed about the mechanics of this game and offer no real help.

Yes you can.
Go to the Essence NPC…
At the bottom-left, click on the drop-down menu to show a list of classes…
Select the class that matches the item you wish to extract (I used Wizard in this example)…
Then extract the item.

However, I really don’t think this reward is working as intended…at least I hope not.
Some junior programmer just forgot to instantiate [Legendary Class Gear] rather than [Random Legendary Item] in the code. The fix should be very easy.
