Is player feedback is a powerful tool? orrrr…?

ghost, atp you’ve seen what the community thinks. i don’t need to sugarcoat it. if feedback is welcome like you say it is, why do ppl STILL feel brushed off & ignored when they air their grievances with merit, providing in-depth explanation?

& b4 u jump off the deep end & suspend me from the forum AGAIN, please help us all understand. what exactly do you do?

constructively, i ask… are you a liaison for customer service, THEE customer service or none-of-the-above? & why hasn’t there been any address in the OBVIOUSLY LACKING customer service end of this game?

if AI is so smart, why are these automated responses so terrible & unhelpful that when ppl have issues, they come to the forums only to be STONEWALLED harder??

i’ve seen this as a constant on the forum that hasn’t changed, no mention of efforts to revamp or fix it, or even an acknowledgment that “we’re aware of it & are diligently pursuing all options with live personnel to make it better.”

YOU should be the most active person on the forum. ur getting paid to monitor it. atleast make it seem like you care even if it’s all fake.

Constructively… what i don’t like?
you not doing your job.

Constructively… why?
aside from addressing the lag issue, which is STILL an issue; scrolling the forums finding constant problems on repeat. no fix. no address other than a cop out. no address on how you all are actively working to improve a broken system that has CUSTOMERS feeling discouraged & blatantly disrespected.

Constructively… the root cause?
DO TELL Mr. Community Manager.

None of the above.

I think that there is a huge misunderstanding about what a Community Manager does, because 90-95% of my job is invisible to players. Most of my job is behind the scenes, and it’s not about one on one interactions. That is the role of our customer service team, and I am not equipped to do that role.

My job is not to monitor or interact in the forums, and I will never be the most active person in the forums. My job is to enable us to build communities, create processes and programs that enrich the gameplay and community experience of our community, and to build spaces where players come together to discuss the game and engage with each other. Forums are not a place for one on one attention with Blizzard staff, it’s a place for you to discuss the game with other players.

This is both incorrect and absolutely not constructive.

I can tell you that I have been doing my job, and that begins with laying framework for a healthy community that is poised to grow. I have been hard at work coming up with a Community plan that includes opportunities for player engagement, bolstering our Partner Program, and the framework for repeatable processes and earlier information dissemination. None of that will be visible to you, but it’s going to take a majority of my time, but will benefit the Community in the long run.
