On Sunday March 30th
The time in the UK and Western Europe will be set forward by one hour.
On Wednesday April 2nd
The server time on EU servers will be set forward by one hour.
This means that from Sunday to Wednesday, the usual offset between your local time and server time will be different.
Here’s an example, using the time of the Shadow War, which is 19:30 (server time).
UTC
BST = British Summer Time (UTC+1)
CET = Central European Time (UTC+1)
CEST = Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)

Many Thanks ! I’ll try to understand when for France Local Time the ‘legal hour’ will be on … just to know when to wake-up for work !
Today, the UK and Western Europe entered Daylight Savings Time.
This means that…
- The UK moved from UTC to BST = British Summer Time (UTC+1)
- Western Europe moved from CET = Central European Time (UTC+1) to CEST = Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)
Note that…
- EU server time has not changed. It remains as CET = Central European Time (UTC+1)
- EU server time will not be changed until Wednesday
What this mean for your Vigil of Blades / Rite of Exile tonight…
- VOB / ROE begins at 20:00 (server time), i.e. 20:00 CET = Central European Time (UTC+1)
- If you are in the UK, 20:00 (server time) is 20:00 BST = British Summer Time (UTC+1)
- If you are in Western Europe, 20:00 (server time) is 21:00 CEST = Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)
If you turn up at your usual local time, you’ll be an hour too early for VOB / ROE.

at least this time you’d be early rather than late in the fall. Only benefit lol
In this morning’s patch, EU server time was changed…
- From CET = Central European Time (UTC+1)
- To CEST = Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)
This means…
- UK ( BST ) - Server time is one hour ahead of local time
- Western Europe ( CEST ) - server time is the same as local time
So, don’t be an hour late for Shadow War tomorrow.
