As a player who spends a lot of time open world farming I’m finding it increasingly boring to not have any gear levels to strive for. I was maxed at level 30 gear shortly after the last gear level release along with many other players. Please increase gear levels to 40 to give the grinders something to work towards.
Why is this even a question? Obviously they will increase the cap eventually like how they increase the paragon level.
Also, I am impressed that you guys were able to get your gear to Rank 30 so easily. I am still stuck at average rank 23 gear. 
I’ve been at level 30 for months and have a bag full of mats. The sooner level increase the better IMO.
On the server I’m on, I think there’s probably no more than a couple of dozen players with eight Rank 30 legendaries. I know in my clan, there’s only one. I’ve got 6 rank 30s, 1 Rank 26 and 1 Rank 24. Most folks I look at that have been playing for a long time have legendaries in the 20s. Newer players / players that took a break, tend to be in the teens. This is only an issue for a tiny proportion of the players, I think.

Lvl 40 equipment needs to be done asap been 30 for awhile now please blizz
Agreed; I don’t even farm, just playing every day, and managed to reach full lvl30 gear maybe two months after the increase, since then I’ve just been burning my mats to buy cryptic crystals.
Of course there’s a huge gap between active long-time players like us and casuals or newcomers, but that is expected and should not be a reason to hold us back, especially when combat rating and the minor stat increases don’t really give us much advantage.
