First of all, English it’n not my first language so please excuse my errors.
After that, i had a search in tehse forums but i didn’t find anything about, so please, anyone knows how to increase familiar stats?
I’ve already meld a lot of familiars but every time the sistem let me choose what familiar (from the 2 selected) without increasing stats.
Thanks in advance
I understand your concerns, as do many players.
It seems Blizzard / NetEase are still NOT clear on this part of the game, and MELD Familiar seems broken and bugged because stats don’t change after a MELD is done with a Familiar. I tried more than 5 times and just stopped trying. I wont waste my time on this until a fix and clear info on how to upgrade Familiar is available.
I don’t understand how to upgrade a Familiar either, so you are not alone, my friend. I just upgraded to max level 30 and will wait to see if and when Blizzard / NetEase decide to be CLEAR on this upgrade MELD waste of Spirit Essence BS issue is addressed for all Diablo Immortal players, because it is in limbo as of right now.
Blizzard / NetEase can YOU be more clear on HOW to upgrade a Familiar companion in Diablo Immortal and why does MELD fail to work!? Why all the confusing BS and NO clarity on this!!?? Get it together! - JJ -
Yes, this is what i’m referring.
Thanks a lot, i will search for these videos.
I wonder why Blizzard / NetEase do not mention any of this or make things clear about how to actually UPGRADE Familiar companions in the game. It’s ridiculous! So players are clueless as to why they are performing a MELD to supposedly upgrade their companions but that fails to work, and I tried it 5 times and nothing upgrades! So until there is clear information about how to actually upgrade a Familiar companion in the game by Blizzard / NetEase, I am not wasting anymore Spirit Essence for nothing!
The lack of information on many things in Diablo Immortal are a huge turn off, and it is very disappointing and wrong not to be clear with players. Hopefully, that will change soon! - JJ -
Well this isn’t hard. Have a guide made up or money spent on this game will just be put to another game and it’s not like there is a shortage of games to pick from. Thanks in advance
There is in fact no clear guidance from Blizzard about any serious game mechanics.
None of the little side games (like Survivor’s Bane, say)have any sort of guide or manual anywhere about how to do well at it.
That is left for the YouTubers to expound on.
As for us here, well, between the mods and the AI, there is little room for honest critique.
I will say only that I have a theory that the more uncertainty players have regarding consequential game mechanics, the more likely they are to guess that money is all that stands between them and The Whale.
Open wallet; insert card. Cha-ching; screw those instructions!
I also got stuck at Hell 3 Guide task which requests to create a 6 rare skilled familiar. But no matter I tried to Melt or Convert, I always failed. So this task blocked me to continue upgrade my char in game.
Well…
- If you meld two familiars which each have 0 rare skills, that results in a familiar with 1 rare skill.
- If you meld two familiars which each have 1 rare skill, that results in a familiar with 2 rare skills.
- If you meld two familiars which each have 2 rare skills, that results in a familiar with 3 rare skills.
- If you meld two familiars which each have 3 rare skills, that results in a familiar with 4 rare skills.
- If you meld two familiars which each have 4 rare skills, that results in a familiar with 5 rare skills.
- If you meld two familiars which each have 5 rare skills, that results in a familiar with 6 rare skills.
–==[ EDIT ]==–
Showing an example of the above…
Bonded 2 rare skill familiar, with a 2 rare skill unbonded familiar available…
Choosing to meld the bonded 2 rare skill familiar…
Selecting the unbonded 2 rare skill familiar (note that it indicates you will gain 1 rare skill)…
Thanks for your answer. It makes sense now. So to prepare for 2 familiars with 5 rare skilled, that cost a lot of money and time. Anyway, thanks, at least i have answer now.
Hi finally I could create a 6 rare skilled familiar following your detail explanation. By the way, I still have a problem. When I try to convert 3 normal familiars and I tried to use 2 convert stones created by ending pact. But on the screen, there is no way to select or add the conversion stones. Can you check this issue? Thanks.
Sorry, can’t help with that as I’ve never used the Convert option.
Convert stone are used to convert 3 aberrant pets including one with at least 1 yellow skill.
Convert stone ensures that the outcome will not be of lesser quality compared to the highest one used.
Yes, but the point is that it did not show up so that i can choose it to convert 3 familiars to an aberrant class. There is no option to choose it on the screen. I realized that i got three bugs until now.
converting normal pets into abberant pets is more random than anything. but it can be “influenced” to a degree.
rare skills don’t affect converting normal pets into abberants as much as converting pets that have multiple traits.
i routinely convert normal pets with 3 traits each & consistently get abberants. doesn’t ALWAYS work, but i’ve had great success this way.
i recommend ONLY using conversion stones when converting an abberant pet with multiple legendary skills
that said, i normally DO NOT convert using conversion stones & have still made many many pets with multiple legendary skills that i’ve sold for minimum 10k plat upto 500k plat
save the stones for when you get abberants with 2 or more legendary skills. otherwise let rng do the work
Thanks for your answer. I got it now. It seems it works only with aberent pets.
Anyway, how to make a pet having all 3 legendary traits such as salvagering, switching loadout, identifier.
That is impossible with the low random ratio of trait combination.
