I cannot defeat him, and I am unable to leave. I am stuck in a loop.
Maybe revive in town when you die. Since it’s a special event, similar to some other special events, reviving in town allows you to leave the instance.
You may also want to adjust your map difficulty so that the lich king dungeon will be a bit easier for you.
