I never ever noticed that time restriction… until today when i hit Para 700 and finally wanted to cash in the 400/400 loyalty points for my first new gear item… which didn’t work because the game want’s me to wait 5 days! W-T-F! Isn’t it enough that we only can have limited loyalty points and only 100 items extracted pert week? Now we also have to wait up to one entire week before we can even activate the loyalty feature for new legy gear?
Of course I had saved alot of old legy gear to have a faster progress. But since I have to wait 5-6 days I have to trash it due lack of space.
Where is the fun in this System?
For some reason the brainless decision makers think it’s fun to chase the essences for weeks and they even make collecting them even harder with every new difficulty. This game desperately needs target farming and loyalty bonus is not an answer for the issues with essences.
It takes me no time to get all new essences and usually maybe 1 from loyalty. The system is designed so you can’t immediately get a new essence. It makes sense and works as intended to limit players from working the system in their favour.
Have you ever changed class and tried to collect all essences? It’s doable for 2, a bit of a stretch for 3 classes and pretty much impossible for more without playing 4-6 hours or more per day.
that’s not the point here. It is to stop people from using loyalty to get target essences after release. The ONLY reason people are even complaining is because we are hitting 700 in the middle. This isn’t new… This has been a thing for months now
What it does is discourage players from class changing as they can’t get essences ready for the class they intend to change to in any reasonable time-frame which means that, if you do go ahead and change class, you’re totally useless for weeks after you switch.
I get that but why is it suddenly an issue now? Why wasn’t it an issue with i4 essences? I feel the timing of it all is causing the most issues because this isn’t a new addition.
Suddenly? I created the thread back in March 2024, i.e. almost a year ago.
Back then, there were 720 essences for your non-main class. Now there’s not only more essences per class, there’s also more classes. In those 11+ months, I’ve obtained 13 essences for non-Barb due to loyalty bonus.
I think you two are talking about different things.
Meteorblade is talking about the 100 loyalty limit.
GarnMcGaughn is talking about the time restriction of the new difficulty essence.
There will be another new class soon.
Essences for the 9 classes that I have to collect will be increased more.
I would like to see the probability, possibility, and drop rate of getting essences increased in some way.
Removing the 100 extractions per week limit would be a good start.
I mean the week cooldown for new essences as that was the side question which has been around for a few releases now
At least the time restriction should be gone. It’s so or so not easy to get all essences with the loyalty system. I usually only get one new Item from the 400 points after an update and then I find the rest randomly. You only can scrap 100 Items for loyalty points per week and so you need around 3-4 weeks to even get one new bonus item.
I only play one class but still find this system annoying. At least for my case, the new Necro essences are not that important, the new Legy set looks quite bad actually.
I honestly can’t understand why on earth are people not requesting to decrease the required loyalty points for a start instead of removing the cap. The cap will never be removed as it has a very clear purpose just like how many other parts of the game have a cap.

Yes Please do this… Each 100 Paragon Level its getting harder to farm all…

I playing all Classes on my Main and i never get to the cause then there are new ones coming.
