Effects and quest in the game

Hello Diablo Immortal Support Team,

I am encountering an issue with the “Shimmering Tropic” quest in the game. I have tried the following:
• Checked all available quests.
• Reinstalled the game.
• Searched for the required steps to complete the quest.

Despite all my efforts, I couldn’t find or progress with the quest. I suspect there might be an issue with my account, or the quest might not be available to me properly.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there are any specific steps I should take to resolve it?
And
I am writing to report an issue with some effects I purchased in the game. Although I bought the full package, certain effects are missing from my account. I have double-checked my inventory and settings, but they are still not available.

I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this issue and ensuring that the purchased content is restored to my account.

what difficulty are you in doing the quest? Have you tried doing so in normal?

If I’m not wrong, “Shimmering Tropic” was the island where players went fishing while the Fisher’s Frenzy limited-time event was active. But that event ended a long time ago. I don’t see any way for you to do that quest, I’m afraid, unless Blizzard decided to bring the event back at some point.

You say you cannot complete the quest, but it’s a task from an event that ended many months ago.
Where are you seeing the quest?
Can you show a screenshot?

what happens when you click the magnify glass on the right side of the quest. It should bring up a bigger window with a possible abandon option

Kuw click edit on your top post here and change it to a bug rather than general discussion as that is what it is.

I’m not the original poster but as I mentioned in the bug report sub forum here The Shimmering Tropic quest is stuck since half a year , the issue still persists as of today’s patch.

I figured it would be ok to reply here since og poster didn’t follow the topic or provide proof of it happening.
