Reduce the play time of defense of cyranger endless mode.

How to reduce play time

The time it takes to defeat a weak monsters is meaningless.

Having said that, I took a quick look at my Trophy section…

…and that sums up my inclination to do Endless. There’s no way to justify the amount of time / effort required, for such a minimal amount of Warband points received. Heck, if I had an hour to spend, solo, and wanted Warband points I could easily run 30 Purge The Depths in that time for 300 Warband points.

Whilst under the WB point soft-cap, even a normal defence, which would grant 160 WB, takes longer than 4 Purges would, at 40 points each. As it stands, unless you enjoy the mode for the gameplay itself, it’s highly inefficient in terms of earning WB points for time spent.

I also don’t like playing Cyranger defense because the reward is small compared to the play time. But I have to play it because my warband plays it every Monday and Thursday. I would never play it unless the warband plays it.
I have completed all of the Defense trophy achievements. If you go into defense and leave your character standing still, the ‘counterattack when taking damage’ effect and the ‘attack when giving damage’ legendary gems will fight for you. And then you die. If you score over about 1000 points, it counts as one time.

So, that’s two 40 minute defences a week. If, instead, you split into two groups of 4 WB members, and ran dungeons together for 80 minutes, not only would you get more WB points than you’d get from the defences, you’d also be earning legendaries and set items. Again, unless it’s just being done because the players enjoy the social aspect of being all eight together, or the defence mode itself, it’s a waste of time in terms of WB points and loot.
