I jumped on the new off-hand essence Dancing Lightning to add some passive offense to ice armor but was very sad to find it removes all damage absorb. Its totally incompatible with Halestone also.
Why would anyone ever use it this way? Its a very small amount of damage (not like storm armor) with random procs and you lose the small shred of survivability we have left. Just doesn’t make any sense.
