The mechanics to obtain the talisman skills are extremely complicated, expensive and absurd, it only delays the growth of the players in the game and I quote my case in particular: I achieved the difficult task of placing five skills of my class and moved on to the next phase try to increase the percentage of these skills, a complicated case that the roulette falls again on said skill but I managed it five times, it fell and the five times I couldn’t raise it, I only destroyed the talisman that I tried to imbue without achieving the increase in percentage more than 5000 of platinum thrown away, do something about this part of the game content that only kills part of the game experience that in itself is too p2w
I wouldn’t call it complicated, just plain rigged.
I would call the Charms one of the high endgame tweaks for whales, when everything else is finished.
Platinum is definitely better spent for awakening every piece of gear, which also gives +10% damage often.
Also pushing your secondary attributes through gems, where you know the outcome and don‘t pray to the RNG gods, should take priority before dabbling in Charms.
That said, I would be happy if they implemented at least a small change to the RNG: when trying to improve the percentage, the new roll should not be worse than what you already have. Nothing more frustrating than having for example 4% already and rolling only 2% multiple times (with a lot of different other skills in between of course). And be transparent with these chances there.
For example: 95% same level and 5% one of the higher ones. The 20% chance for the actual skill before stays the same. So you can gradually upgrade at least, because you eliminate the lower levels from the pool.
Would still cost quite a large amount of platinum, but would be beneficial for those who want to spend.
Class skill talisman a total waste of platinum
It is though. Even most whales skipped it.
I’ve just made my own without using the market at all. Doesn’t help on my servers the prices have crashed to rock bottom.
