I’m just wondering, like thousands before me I’m sure, but why not match based on secondaries??? I’m no mathematician here, nor a rocket scientist… not even a pro video gamer… and certainly no coder… but correct me if I’m wrong… wouldn’t that be simple ???

Battlegrounds Resonance Changes
We found that some players lowered the Resonance levels and used the powers of the Normal Gem to have an unseemly advantage in Battlegrounds. We’re now factoring in Normal Gem power when using the matchmaking algorithm to ensure a more balanced playing field.
We have also optimized the matchmaking algorithm to now consider Amor Penetration, Amor, Potency, and Resistance. Players with high values in each of these categories will be better matched to players of high Resonance levels so the strength of both sides of each battle will be more evenly matched.
