Battlepass quest cannot be completed: 'Equip 6 Set Items' on Hell I

I passed to Interno levels when I noticed that I didn’t finish the battlepass questline on Hell I. So I started to follow up with them but I stuck with the 16th quest of ‘Equip 6 Set Items’.

Even though I crafted 6 Set Items on Hell I and I replaced my current higher difficulty set items to the Hell I items (I also changed back the dfficulty to Hell I), but the quest cannot be completed.

Previously there was a similar quest ‘Equip 4 Set Items’ and I was able to complete the quest with the previously described tastic. Why does it not work again (Having Hell 1 Set Items equiped and changed back the difficulty)?

I know it’s not necessarily a bug but I really don’t know what to do with it.

From what I remember of this quest, it has to be six different items from the same set equipped. In other words, it’s not enough to just have six set items equipped, i.e. if you had 5 items from one set, and 1 item from another, I don’t think that satisfies the criteria for the quest to complete. The part about them being different items is also important, i.e. if you have 2 of the same ring (from the same set) that also won’t work.

Thanks! I have 3 items from the same set, so I need 3 more. Is there any way I can farm set items on Hell 1? If I change back the difficulty to Hell 1 and finish dungeons that are supposed to drop set items I get set items only from the Codex and those set items are on my current level which is Inferno 4. I run out of hell 1 materials to craft set items so the only way would be to farm them but it doesn’t seem to work.

Tbh it says hell1 because that’s when greens become available. You can do any difficulty above it as long as it’s a full set of 6

You don’t need to equip 6 Hell 1 set items from the same set. They can be from any difficulty, they just need to all be from the same set. If you just farm dungeons on whatever difficulty you’re at, any set items you don’t need you can salvage into wisps, then use the wisps to craft the rest of the set you need.

Ahh, okay… I think I got it now. So I have 3 items from Issatar’s set. The only thing I need to get 3 more items from this set, right?

Btw, is there any benefit of wearing all set items from the same set? Any extra skill that makes you stronger or stg?

There are set bonuses for having 2, 4 or 6 different pieces of the same set equipped.

By the way, as this isn’t a bug, you should move this thread.

  • Under your opening post, click the small, blue pencil icon to enter Edit mode. Then, in the edit window, at the top-right click the drop-down list, choose General Discussion from the list, then click Save. That’ll move your opening post, and all the replies in the thread, to the General Discussion forum.
