Aspirant Keys in Iben Fahd Sanctum

Slain enemies are not dropping Aspirant Keys.

Could it be that you had sent your familiars to do the Sanctum before doing the run? They pick all keys and the rewards from the first chest, so you can’t get them if you do the Sanctum afterwards.

Mmhmm…

To be clear: it also occurs after my Familiars have completed an Iben Fahd’s mission and are on a different mission (or none at all.) So it must be solely because of the loss of that first chest in the initial room once the Familiars have completed their mission. That said, my understanding was that the first chest was a “freebie” and no Aspirant Keys were deducted from your total key count. :slightly_frowning_face:

Number of Aspirant Keys to open chests in the first room and the total number of Culling Stones rewarded:

0 – 5 Culling Stones
1 – 5 Culling Stones
2 – 10 Culling Stones
3 – 20 Culling Stones
4 – 40 Culling Stones

So we lose at least 4 Aspirant Keys (I’ve received more than 4 on many occasions) in exchange for the 5 Culling Stones that we normally get at no cost. So my takeaway is don’t waste your daily Aspirant Keys rewards by using your Familiars.

You get 4 keys (and the culling stones from the free chest) when you claim the rewards at Nisza’s once the familiars have completed the expedition. You don’t lose them.

That makes a little more sense. Still, there seems to be no benefit in having your Familiars running Iben Fahd. Well, at lease I now know it’s not a bug but feature.

Thank you for the clarification.

The benefit of having Familiars do tasks for you is that they do it whilst you / your hero do something else, and they continue to do it even if you log out of the game.

For example, on a weekly reset day, I’ll send my Familiars to do runs of Accursed Towers. It takes them 1 hour 30 minutes to get 200 points, compared to my hero being able to get 300 points in a couple of minutes, but the point is that they can be doing that whilst I’m doing my 20/20 Shadow weeklies or my 60/60 Immortal weeklies.

I do the same with the one exception: Iben Fahd’s Sanctum; that’s part of my daily routine since the beginning. I reserve my familiar expeditions for the more ‘tedious,’ time-consuming tasks of contracts and towers.

I do it before I cap my bp, I leave as many points as I can for WB conversion points, prob not worth it but meh lol

I haven't been able to pass the last stone for 5 months.
I don't know how much longer I'll have to struggle with this. I just want to let you know it's starting to get very frustrating.

i bet but rng can suck
