Enable auto-battle for us too. Are only Chinese users human? I’m tired of repeating the dungeon thousands of times like a machine.
For QOL.
우리도 자동전투를 가능하게 해 주세요. 중국유저들만 인간입니까? 던전을 기계처럼 몇천번 반복하는 것이 지겹습니다.
삶의질을 위해.

They made this statement back in October 2023…
…and then proceeded to give the Chinese client its own inbuilt automation.
I queried this at the time they announced the auto-battler.
I think he meant this:
REGION-SPECIFIC GAME ADDITIONS
Below you will find region-specific updates coming to the version of Diablo Immortal available in China.
Auto-Battle Feature
A feature has been added that automates gameplay for the player, inputting their character movements and behavior. We have no plans to bring this feature to all regions in a future update.
It is China Diablo Immortal exclusive, so he thinks why only china players treated as human with life and not us.
I will answer your previous query.
“money”
It sucks.
There are very different regulations between the regions like for example how much time and money one can or should spend on games hence these differences.
I know exactly what they meant which is why, in the post I linked, I’d said…
They made a public facing statement that automation is not allowed (for US / EU / Asia). Then they released patch notes that include automation in the game client itself for the Chinese version of the game.
So, they’re enabling the very thing they say they want to prevent.
Well, I think it was China Team decision to give China players an automation feature and I am glad that Blizzard stuck to what it stands for.
They made a very public declaration that they’ll ban people for automation / botting and using third party programs and then, after having made that statement, they introduced in-game functionality that quite literally allows players to automate / bot.
What they appear to stand for is saying one thing whilst doing the complete opposite.
It is more like Netease’s decision. Many China mobile games have built-in automation. You need to understand that DI is a collaboration between Blizzard and Netease, so obviously China DI will have their own rule and setting.
If you look at the China DI blog, they always have their own version of events.
P.S. I am just glad that our version doesn’t have an automation feature.
It’s a decision that Blizzard had to agree to / approve, it’s not something NetEase should able to unilaterally implement. Blizzard simply cannot dodge responsibility for this. They’re touting that automation will get US / EU / Asia players permanently banned whilst at the same time approving in-game automation for their Chinese players.
So am I, but I also think it stinks to high heaven that they’re threatening to punish their Western customers for something they’re literally putting into the game client for their Chinese customers.
They no longer have any shred of credibility to make anti automation / botting statements when they’re literally putting automation / botting code into their own games.
Depends on the contract. Netease probably has the power and authority to do anything with China DI. They even did a crossover with other Chinese games recently. I also remember reading a post that you can sell your DI account officially in China as it was endorsed by Netease itself. Finally, don’t forget that they made D3 F2P with MTX in China in the past.
Either way, I care less whether Blizzard approved it or was unable to disagree with Netease’s decision as long as our version is free from automation features.
You guys mean you’re willing to play the dungeon 1,000 times, 10,000 times manually.
There are also ways like these.
You manually play until dungeon 1000 times, and then can choose automatic battle.
Or, once you complete all the dungeon trophy achievements, you can choose automatic battle.
Or, if you reach 100 times in each dungeon, you can choose automatic battle for that dungeon. or completing each dungeon trophy.
Goal figures(100, 1000) are examples.
My stance is that I’m against players being able to automate / bot for rewards. So, yes, this means if you want rewards you actually need to play the game not have the game play itself for you.
But it’s not funny and so boring.
Games are for fun.
In which case, find a game you have fun playing, rather than asking to be rewarded for a bot playing a game you don’t find fun.
DI is fun enough for me. I’ve been making these suggestions because I love this game and want to keep playing it. Set items are so important that I have to play dungeons. This is something that is unavoidably forced.
Do you always find dungeons fun?
Generally, yes, because I run them with a couple of WB members and we’re usually nattering away with each other whilst doing them. I do dungeons with them, I do vaults with them, I do raids with them. The content is always more fun when you do it with friends. That’s kind of the point of an MMO. Sometimes the content itself becomes almost incidental as what you’re enjoying the most is the interactions with your friends.
I guess what you’re saying isn’t that the dungeon content itself is fun.
Basically, the content itself must be fun.
I also play dungeons with two regular WB members every day.
But it’s getting more and more boring.
No, I still enjoy dungeons, just I enjoy them more when I do it with my friends.
