The towers call across each other, echoing the clang and din of metal upon metal as the bravelegions fight to earn the treasure nestled within. Many have gathered to shape the very fate ofthese enshrined gilded nestles of treasure, using combined efforts to reap rewards further and Deeper!
An update for Accursed Towers went live with our latest major update earlier this week and can be played right now! For those still looking for clarification, here’s a bit more about the latest update to Accursed Towers, and the introduction of Clan Unions!
The Basics:
Clans can now form Alliances with other clans on the same server within Accursed Towers to bolster and strengthen their defenses against rival Clans.
When looking at the Towers Map, you’ll notice that the towers are now connected through a series of dotted lines. These lines indicate which Towers are connected to each other, and will allow you to spread your Clan’s influence as you conquer multiple towers.
Allied Towers are marked in green on the map. Within your Alliance, if your Towers are connected you can call upon the other Clans to support and protect your Towers.
Tower Alliances
Tower Alliances are a new addition to Diablo Immortal. They allow Clans to form a union consisting of multiple Clans that work together to take over as many of the Towers as possible.
A Tower Alliance consists of three types of clans: the Alliance Leader clan, Guardian clans, and Regular clans. If Towers on the map are linked, they share a defense system, allowing connected clans to assist each other in battle.
There is no limit on the number of Regular clans in an alliance, but they can each only control 1 tower. Guardian clans are key allies and limited to 2 total in the Alliance, each controlling up to 2 towers.
The Clan Leader can create an Alliance for the cost of 3000 Platinum and becomes the Alliance Leader. The Alliance Leader’s Clan can control up to 3 Accursed Towers. Once that limit is reached, any additional Towers captured can be transferred to other Clans within the Alliance. The Alliance Leader can invite or remove Clans, promote Regular clans to Guardian status, but cannot demote Guardian clans to Regular status.
Any Clan can apply to join or leave a Tower Alliance at any time, except during Dispute for the Accursed Tower!
Tower Transfers
When transferring additional Towers, the Alliance Leader can choose to do so manually, allowing Leaders to choose the Clan that receives the Tower, or automatically, which will give the tower to the Clan with the highest contribution that has not reached their Tower limit, prioritizing Guardian clans.
If a transfer target Clan is manually selected, but has reached their Tower limit, the process will switch to automatic. If nobody within the Alliance is or can be assigned a tower, it will display an unoccupied status.
If a Clan’s number of controlled Towers exceeds the limit when joining or leaving an Alliance, they must relinquish control of the excess Towers.
Joint Defense:
Aid your Alliance!
If allied Clans within the same Tower Alliance have connected Towers, they can sign up to jointly defend an ally requesting help in Dispute for the Accursed Tower.
