So what is the point of doing Erebann since Abyssal Verge is easier, more combat-oriented, and more rewarding if both content give similar rewards?
I did enough Verges last week to get 10 Abyssal Essences. As they’re not a guaranteed drop, I probably did around 20 of them. Handed them into Rayek and received 3 yellow items and a single rune. Quite frankly, this seems to be another piece of content that’s wholly unrewarding and not respectful of the player’s time spent.
I did it for monstrous essences though. I can easily get 2 or 3 monstrous essences from 1 trip from Abyssal Verge, which took me around 3 minutes on average.
At least Verge is good for monstrous essence farming, but I can’t say the same for Erebann though.
