As someone who loves Diablo Immortal, I say this.
Do not do actions that lose customer trust.
As far as I know, there were three major bad actions in this update.
- Colossal Surge
- spirit essence
- secretly nerfed barb (demoralize lion’s mane ground damage build) (You seem to be saying that it’s not a nerf, but a bug fix.)
In any game, the game’s population will continue to churn over time.
But your actions will accelerate the rate of population churn.
I hope Diablo Immortal’s population doesn’t churn so quickly.
As you all know, population churn means a decrease in sales. Please don’t do these actions even for the sake of your business.
If you say something different from what you said at the beginning, you will lose trust.
Moreover, what you say is related to the money people spend.
People spend money based on your words and the game design, and changing the game design after they spend money is deceptive.
Games are intangible products, but if we buy a tangible product, a TV, and the specifications are different from what we knew before buying it, it is consumer deception.
People already think you are the boy who cried wolf. We think you have a lot of mistakes, a lot of bugs.
Make fewer mistakes, and design your game carefully from the beginning.
