At the same level 9k reso won’t beat anyone except another wizard or maybe a Demon hunter.
People who have strong wizards and want to advance somehow change their reso by up to 20% to have a chance. When they are strong, there is a 72% chance that the BG system will balance them with some immune class - which is usually a certain failure.
The first 5 places in the BG table are occupied by wizards with reso below 2k. The other places are 1k to 5k. My wizard 9,3 k reso win score in BG is 29%. Low level wizards are good because you can usually spam AoE from behind and that’s about it.
You won’t do it at a higher reso because you’re a simple target that doesn’t threaten anyone.
The devs made the wizard a completely inferior thing because he doesn’t do his job well. They just made scum and gave him bad abilities.
This is how WIZ degrades the last 3 months. Today it’s a wizard, tomorrow it can be another class. Hopefully they will think about it and not let people who don’t understand it do work on balance - So that they don’t repeat the mistakes of Diablo 4
Of course it is, skills are only for distance attack, you need to stay when attacking so all other classes (that do melee) can attack you.
Wizard doesn’t have a kickass skill that can compensate melee attack, just teleport (if you use it) to go away but having that skill equipped limit damage skills in use.
I’m using wizard because i like it in pve, but i die a lot in events with pvp if nobody helps.
