I see a lot of people who ask for help or their parties go unnoticed. I believe that creating a system that encourages interaction between experienced players and newer players could be beneficial to increasing and sustaining player count and overall longevity of the game.
One legendary a day or some platinum could get someone to help out right away. I dont want to see this game die, i want to see it grow. If you have any comments or ideas please let me know. Much Love - Blissery
P.s. I know there are NPC stand ins for parties. I just think this would help the community and encourage player to player interaction. More fun for everyone!
The most frequent help I see players asking for is with raid bosses, and they’re asking for low level raids, in the early morning of a reset day. This came up often enough that I wrote a thread about it…
…explaining why high level players aren’t going to help with low level raids until after they’ve done their own high level raids because this would mean they’d miss out on their own rewards to do so.
However, Vanguard gives an option to do this, i.e. if you have any of your 5 charges left, you can choose whether to do a Vanguard run using a charge, or not using a charge. This means you could help out players with lower level Vanguard runs without using up any of your own 5 charges, which you can then use up later with your usual Vanguard group.
If the raids had something similar, i.e. the ability to help people out without using up one of your own 5 raid charges, this would mean high level players would be a lot more willing to help out players with low level raids, as it wouldn’t impact the high level player’s ability to get their own rewards later, e.g. reset day evening with their Warband.
Hi Meteorblade, first I’d like to say thank you for your input. The ability to toggle rewards can go hand in hand perfectly with helping lower difficulty players (newbies) I’ve seen so many new players with empty raids so I hope this gets implemented. More players, more gameplay, more money increasing the longevity of diablo immortal. Plus who wouldn’t want a badass 9k res on your friends list? " Mentorship System " has so many possibilities
Also, definitely something to take note of Hope Diablo devs take notice too and care about this demographic of players
