Yes whenever I go to click my Xbox center button to bring up my friends lists and posts for Diablo 4 it cuts off all Diablo 4 sounds from game until I restart the game.

The same thing is happening to me on PS5 too. When I join a party with a friend, the game immediately goes silent, having to restart. And also when I change the sound output from the headphone to the TV, the same thing happens. I went back to playing after the start of season 4 and came across this annoying bug.
i have a problem when turning off my headset and turning it back on again while in game/menus. there is definitely something broken with sound

Mine goes out totally at random. Forces restart on my series x. My sons series s had the same thing but reboot, restart, changing language pack didnt fix it so he had to reinstall.

xbox here… randomly 3 to 4 times in say 3 hours game play the sound just decides to stop working, have to reset back to the dashboard to get sound back in the game… started happeing to me after last update, now its a pain and ruins the game experience

Playing on XBSS with an HS75 XB Wireless headset by Corsair.
I lose in-game audio when I do 1 of 2 things (so far):
- Press the Xbox button to take a screenshot.
- Start D4 without the headset, then add the headset during gameplay.
