Yeah yeah… dumb post but why not! So, since when does Diablo scream puppies and kitties?!? Seriously! I like most of the recent changes to the game (even though Season 4 storyline is an after thought) but the pets are WoWified… how about a zombie or goblin pet that actually fits into the game? Let me guess… most likely have to pay for those.
Also the pets miss a lot of drops and are slow! lol
Love them. I don’t mind the pets, I get more cinders and gold that way. Because i sometimes run off into the wild firey yonder.
The pets are great. It’s hilarious fighting a boss and this little cat is standing there. Not to mention picking up gold and what not is actually useful.

I mean they wanted to take the dark and gritty theme from d2 I thought, could of at least made it a hellhound and some kind of grotesque tiger.

At lest in D3 they had some great looking pets like baby Butcher.
Puppies and kittens have been in every Diablo game. Just because we living in a dark fantasy world doesnt mean they dont exist.
There should be more pets available for people who don’t want cute ones, a mini zombie that moves like Diablo zombies would be sweet. I like the fact that they pick stuff up.
But you are right that they would have to purchased on the store.
If I want a dog may I have Bones the spectral hound back from D3?
Pets are great but I agree the theme here is a miss.
Good options:
Hellhound
Baby Elementals
Spectrals ie Spectral Green eye Rat or Spectral Fanged Rabbit
Shadows ie Shadow Red Eye Cat or Shadow Red Eye Dog
Mini Mimic
Baby Demon
Lost Goblin
Maybe even crossover stuff like tiny vulture from SC2 or Micro Battlecruiser
But not cuddly cats and dogs I agree this is not good.
You still notice your pet? I forgot they exist. They are so tiny, I can’t see them most of the time.
Are there even Elementals in the game? I haven’t paid much attention.
there is a pet in WoW who (i think its name is guild squire) let you sell a junk items on the run.
i always use him runing old raids like naxramas etc.
imagine having option selling all those legendaries on the run without visiting town

Would a fire ice or lightning elemental seem out of place? Seems ok to me.

I love my pet and pick up slow? Wut? This is such a QoL move that I am ecstatic that it finally happened.
All this Micky mouse / Village People crap is ruining the game. I know it’s June but this game is for Alphas with hair on chest please. Keep the horror theme and get rid of the Disneyland garbage.

The pet battling and collecting system in WoW was the best. I wish they did a lot more with it. For a while (especially during BFA) all I did was collect / level / battle against pets.
